Stalag 383 is a
little-known, but amazing story of the
tribulations of allied prisoners under German
imprisonment. The program above was
produced by the prisoners of Stalag 383 for a
play produced at the camp. Not only was
this program printed from hand-carved wood
blocks, but the theater the play was presented
in was constructed from a barracks in the camp,
which the prisoners had torn down for the
materials.
